Delivery & collection
What it costs, when it arrives, where we deliver, and what we expect on the customer side. We're at the yard or on the road most days — leave a note on the order if access is tricky and we'll plan around it.
Delivery zones & pricing
Flat-fee delivery added at checkout based on your postcode. Most of our footprint is in the Standard zone.

Postcodes outside these zones are priced case-by-case — drop your postcode in the quote form for a precise figure.
Saturday delivery
Saturday delivery is available in limited slots between April and October at a £25 surcharge on top of your zone price. Slots fill fast — order by Thursday 2pm to lock one in.
When you'll get it
- Stock items, ordered before midday Mon–Fri: from the next working day (or your selected day, where slots are available) for most NE postcodes.
- Bulk or special orders: 2–5 working days, confirmed on order.
- Dates you choose are requested — we confirm where we can but they're not a guarantee. Weather and route loading can occasionally move things. We'll always keep you posted.
How it's delivered
- Kerbside as standard — we drop at the closest safe point to your property.
- We can't promise an exact time slot — routes are planned around the day's drops. Most orders arrive between 9am and 4pm on weekdays.
Access
It's the customer's responsibility to make sure the delivery point is safely accessible — width, ground condition, parking, overhead clearance. Tell us when you order if access is tight (narrow lane, soft ground, parking restrictions, low cables) so we can route accordingly. If we attempt delivery and can't complete it because of access we couldn't reasonably anticipate, a re-delivery may be charged.

Pick up from the yard, free, in 24 hours of order or less.

- Please ring ahead on 0191 695 1983 so we have your order picked and ready to load.
- Bring a suitable vehicle. Some items (sleepers, 4×4 posts in volume) are heavy — bring a hand if needed; office staff can't help load.
You don't need to be home
Leave instructions to drop the order in a safe place — driveway, side return, front garden. Tell us where when you order. We'll photograph the drop where we can.
Outside our standard zones?
We deliver further than the zones above by arrangement — parts of County Durham, further into Northumberland — priced case by case. Drop your postcode in the quote form or ring the yard.
