These terms cover your use of this website and any order you place with us. By using the site or ordering, you agree to them.

Products and prices

We try to keep details, prices and stock accurate, but mistakes happen. If we spot a pricing or description error after you've ordered we'll let you know — you can confirm at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund. Timber is a natural product, so colour, grain, knots and minor cupping or twist vary between pieces and packs — slight variation is normal, not a defect.

Ordering

Placing an order is an offer to buy. Your order is accepted when we confirm or dispatch it. The automated order-confirmation email is the confirmation of your offer to buy. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if we can't deliver to your area, an item is unavailable, or there's a pricing or description error — and we'll refund anything you've paid.

Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through Square, our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card details. For trade accounts on net terms, ring the yard to set up.

Delivery and collection

See our Delivery & collection policy for zones, lead times, kerbside method and yard pickup. Delivery and collection dates are requested dates only — not guaranteed. Please measure carefully and order the right amount.

Cancellations, returns and refunds

See our Refund Policy. In short: no change-of-mind refunds, stock items returnable in resaleable condition within 14 days, cut-to-size and made-to-order items are non-refundable once started, your statutory rights as a consumer apply.

Fence install, decking install & other services

Installation work is quoted separately and has its own job-specific terms agreed on the quote. A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your build slot. Site access, ground condition and clearance are your responsibility unless explicitly included in the quote. See Quote Terms for the full quote conditions.

Your responsibilities

• Measure your area and order the correct type and quantity — we'll advise but final responsibility for measurements sits with you.
• Make sure the site is suitable and safely accessible for delivery and for any work we carry out.
• Decide whether what you're ordering is right for your intended use.
• Be available, or arrange a suitable safe place, to receive your order — or accept reasonable kerbside placement.
• Store and handle timber appropriately on receipt — pressure-treated timber should be kept flat and dry until installed.

We are not responsible for problems, costs or losses arising from incorrect measurements, unsuitable ground, poor access, your decisions about product suitability, or storage and handling after delivery.

Liability

We provide our products and services with reasonable care and skill and meet the standards the law requires of us. Beyond that, and to the fullest extent the law allows:

• our total liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order;
• we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, time, opportunity, or knock-on costs;
• we are not liable for delays or failures caused by anything outside our reasonable control — weather, ground/site conditions, access problems, acts of others.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or under your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our site when you order is the one that applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
