Treated fence boards delivered to Prudhoe
Fence board is what most Prudhoe fencers reach for first. Closeboard fence boards are the vertical timber that makes the face of a closeboard fence. We carry 4ft (1.2m), 5ft (1.5m), 6ft (1.8m) and 8ft (2.4m) lengths in 4", 5" and 6" widths. Treated softwood, tantalised — ready for proper North East weather. We deliver across Prudhoe and the wider Northumberland footprint — 1–2 day.
Whether you're laying a single back-garden run on a Mickley or Eltringham property or quoting a multi-house developer plot, the timber's the same: treated softwood, sized properly, dropped where you need it.

Common uses
Full-height boundary fences, gate-frame fill, single-panel repairs after a storm, garden screens for patios and bin stores.
How to install / use
Boards run vertically on horizontal rails between 4×3" or 4×4" posts. Typical 6ft fence uses 6ft × 6" boards on 4ft 6" centres with two arris rails. For repairs, match the existing height and you can often slot a new board into the old line.
Installation notes are general guidance only. Timber sizes are approximate cut sizes (it's a natural material).
What Prudhoe looks like for fencing
Some Prudhoe plots have River Tyne frontage — for those we set posts back from the bank, use treated timber throughout, and recommend cap rails. Old colliery housing in the centre is on heavy clay (rapid-set postcrete needed). Wylam village has heritage planning to be aware of for anything frontage-side.
Neighbourhoods we drop to: Mickley, Eltringham, Ovingham, Stocksfield, Wylam, West Mickley, Riding Mill, Hedley on the Hill. Plus surrounding postcodes (NE42) — drop your postcode at checkout if you're unsure.
